Our Founder

Ms. HiSmith

Ms. HiSmith is a uniquely gifted visionary who had her first glimpses of Pearls of Grace, Inc. in 2009. Since then, she's embarked upon a journey to build a community that encompasses the protection and overall wellbeing of women and children; starting in her community. Women of color are the highest disproportionate minority group in human service need.

ADVOCACY: Starting with the intersected black Woman.

Kimberlé Crenshaw introduced the term intersectionality to the world in 1989. Webster’s Dictionary defines it as, “the complex, cumulative way in which the effects of multiple forms of discrimination (such as racism, sexism, and classism) combine, overlap, or intersect especially in the experiences of marginalized individuals and groups.

What is a 501c4?
